Global LSM movement now one year on.
One year ago, Wilson Wong of Los Angeles, Calif., had an idea. Why not encourage Trikke riders in other locations to organize their own version of Southern California’s nine-month-old Last Saturday of the Month Ride?
He reached out through social media; and in November, 2011, a global movement was born. Now, on the last Saturday and Sunday of any given month, Trikke riders the world over are carving up the planet and being counted in Wong’s monthly LSM Global Report on TrikkeWorld.
Last November, a handful of groups participated in the first global LSM Ride, which begs the question: how are things one year later? Find out in Wong’s latest LSM Global Reports, where he also shares his reflections on the journey. For the LSM Global Report for October, 2012, click here. Wilson we desperately need a group here in San Diego can you help us out down here?
Of the folks I know it seems like you’ve tried to contact them. I’m trying to reach out to a few others to see if they would mind being contacted. If you can map out a nice trail and possibly a urban city ride, maybe I can organize something with the So Cal Carvers. Please keep in touch with me.
