He’s the man who coined the term LSM for the So Cal’s Last Saturday of the Month Ride and inspired a monthly tradition that’s taking place all over the world. Here now, LSM Correspondent Wilson Wong, who apparently has a case of carving fever.
Yo, Double Dub back in the house. With a new class of Trikke trainers training to be certified in Philly this weekend, I know the growth of the community is in good hands with Fred Welch, Ann Pirone and tech guru, Trikke Andy Pliska (and the many others who help put the Academies together).
Congrats to the Philly Trikke Academy, Class of 2012! May the momentum be with you. As you return home safely and share the passion we call Trikke, we wish you happy carving!
On the home front, SBT&T, founders of the LSM, will be hosting our So Cal LSM, next Saturday, starting at Miramar Park in the South Bay. After the ride, SouthBay Trikke has something special cooking. Trikke Andy and Sean and Irene Tice are having an open house to celebrate the opening of their new shop, also home of our local Trikke club, So Cal Carvers.
Coming off an amazing month of May, I can only hope we can all get out there again and smile! It’s time to go carving again with the biggest group ride on three wheels. There are bound to be summer parades and festivals happening. The beaches will be filled with sunbathers and who doesn’t love a BBQ in the park?
Where ever you are, I hope you can find a couple of carvers to join you. It’s time for the global Last Saturday of the Month Trikke Ride next weekend!
I’m Double Dub. I’ll be looking for you to chime in. So I gotta ask: Who’s in?
Not in the mood for summer yet? Check out these two videos that get Double Dub in the mood here and here.
