Wilson Wong hopeful about Trikke community in 2013

Wilson Wong warms up for the LSM at the 2013 MLK Ride in Long Beach, Calif.

Double Dub checking in. The year is looking awesome already. Got lots on the planning board and hoping it all falls into place. Designers are busy coming up with ideas for our second LSM (Last Saturday of the Month) Ride t-shirt and ideas are being tossed around for other activities to help grow our communities.

A couple of Trikke Academy activities are coming up in March. Have you signed up for the 4th National Trikke Riding Skkool (Facebook event page here). Or how about the first Academy of the year (Facebook event page here).

Have you checked with your local dealer, distributor, or certified Trikke trainer about an LSM Ride? How about a road trip to go hangout with other Trikke friends in nearby cities? It happened a few times last year. It’s part of my passion with the LSM. With the great folks I’ve met through carving, I’m out to prove there are many more to meet for all of us! Sharing your ride with others will be like a welcome mat for Carvers, to meet and trade stories, to share!

There was a discussion within the So Cal Carvers club about traveling and joining a neighboring city’s LSM Ride. It’s a great Idea! Just think of the person who hasn’t connected with other carvers, yet. To be contacted by a group asking if they’d be welcomed at that person’s trail! How awesome would that be?!

There’s lots on the table for 2013. Hope you’re ready to step up and enjoy the groove! As for the coming last weekend of January, please check-in! LSM weekend is January 26th (Saturday), and 27th (Sunday).

For those of you who are attending the Skki Inn, see you there!
