Someday millions will like Trikkes. That’s what many a passionate Trikke rider believes. But for now, Trikke Tech — the company that makes the three-wheel carving vehicles — will have to settle for a smaller milestone: 3,000 “likes,” or followers, on its Facebook page.
Rest assured, the population that knows about Trikkes is far greater. For example, Trikke India’s Facebook page now has 19,000 followers.
Still, the 3,000-like mark is significant for Trikke Tech, which lately has been making a concerted effort to get noticed again after three years without an informercial. In addition to an active presence on social media, Trikkes have been featured more on TV fitness segments and gadget blogs. And just recently, a commercial was produced to target the South Bay area of Los Angeles.
It’s safe to assume that the company is happy to now have 3,000 fans on Facebook, but there’s little doubt they’re also hoping that a lot more people begin to like Trikke.
