"Meet the Tribreds" Debuts in Utah in August

For the first time ever, the Trikke Academy is adding an “electrikks” class to its lineup of Trikke-centric courses, beginning with the Academy’s next gathering in Ogden, Utah, the weekend of August 12, 2011.

"The electric vehicle market is exploding,” said Fred Welch, director of the Academy and its training programs. “We’re excited to be a part of that wave.”

Called ”Meet The Tribreds,” the optional, half-day class will occur on Monday, August 15th and cover all aspects of Trikke Elekktrics, including sales, service and tours.

“People are re-thinking their transportation options, which is why the new catch-phrase is ‘multi-modal transportation,’” said Welch. “It's just a huge win-win for everyone."

Additionally, the Academy has added a three-hour Riding Clinikk on Saturday, August 13, for those who want to learn how to ride better, as well as an optional hill-climbing workshop on Sunday.

The Utah Academy is staged in conjunction with local Trikke dealer, G4G. Registration closes on August 1st. As of press time, the Academy reported four spots remaining.
