And the carvers just keep on coming
It’s become a place where friendships are made, people become “regulars” and newbies are born. More than that, it’s a place full of laughter and smiles; and carving and camaraderie.
What is it? The LSM, aka the Last Saturday of the Month Ride, sponsored by TrikkeWorld and SouthBay Trikke (official local dealer of the magazine).
Four people showed up for the very first LSM, but since that cold and windy day in February, attendance has soared. Over forty people carved up each of the last two LSMs, making it the most popular ride in a busy summer season in Southern California.
The LSM has become something people count on and look forward to, judging by the chatter on Facebook. It’s also become the backbone of the So Cal Trikke circuit.
Anyone wanting to start a group-Trikke-ride movement in their own area might want to take note: Give them a regular play-date and they will come.
