Tons of fun, racing and lots of exploration of the new location for America’s premiere Trikke Skki event. The 2013 Skki Inn at Hoodoo Skki Area in Oregon is a wrap. Twenty-three or so snow carvers came together from all over the U.S. and Great Britain for four days of fun and snow carving.

Roger Wildermuth, who has been to most, if not all, of the previous Skki Inn’s, wanted to videotape a “Trikke Skki snake.” This trip, we made his wish come true. On Sunday, after the finish of the Giant Slalom Race, around 14 of us got on the lift to ride down Over Easy. We had a great time of carving while snaking down the hill, all the while keeping things under control, not an easy thing to do! In the end, we were happy to have made the effort and will encourage other Trikke Skki groups to form a Skki snake at other Skki Inn’s and elsewhere.
