Carver Creating Trikke Fever in the OC and  Native Macedonia

Martin Vasilevski is motivated. His thirst for group rides wasn’t quenched by the So Cal carving circuit schedule, so he’s invited riders to join him tomorrow in the mountains of Orange County for a fall version of June’s famous Aliso Creek Endurance Ride.

“The summer ended,” said Vasilevski, “with that, I saw less and less riding options. I would like to see a ride organized every weekend. Why not? This is Southern California, where everything is possible.”

Take it from a man from Macedonia, who just became a Trikke trainer and is already dreaming of Trikke Macedonia. For now though, he’s more focused on enjoying the ride stateside.

“We just need to meet and ride anywhere in So Cal every weekend,” said Vasilevski, who lives in the Orange County city of Tustin. “Even if only two riders show up, at least everyone had option to join in.”

Tomorrow’s journey begins at 8:30 am at Aliso and Wood Canyons Regional Park. The trail consist of an (approximately) 13-mile uphill trek, followed by a 13-mile downhill cruise. According to Vasilevski, cyclists are welcomed and riders are free to join the fun at Cooks Corner, the midway point, then only participate in the downhill portion.
