Florida senior cites Trikke as being easy on the joints

Louis Gomez was drawn to kite surfing because the sport wasn’t around in his youth and the challenge made him want to try it, according to a Wall Street Journal article.

Not that the 73-year-old Florida resident doesn’t have a lot of toys already. Once an avid skier and racquetball player, Gomez is now an avid kite-surfer, paddle boarder, kayak-er and sailor (in a trimaran, a three-hulled sailboat with a pedal drive).

With that in mind, it’s easy to imagine the retired software engineer being drawn to the three wheel wonder, which is exactly why, off the water, he’s on his Trikke T8. The WSJ article makes scant mention of his carving, but it’s nice to see another inspirational adventurer in the ever-growing Trikke world.
