The New T8 - “T8 Sport (Carvé Diem edition)” - comes with substantial upgrades, similar to that of the T12. Upgrades include disc brakes, upgraded frame with accessory attachment points and parking brakes.

It also ships with a water bottle cage and water bottle. Unlike the 2008 design, we have moved away from matte earth tones and migrated to high-end, glossy colors with newly designed graphics embedded in the paint. The new T8 will come in red (solid, glossy ferrari red), sparkly silver, and dark, blue metallic. The concurrent new shipment of T12 will be in the T12's current color choices (white, blue, red and graphite).

Of course, with these upgrades, the cost has increased. The price of the new T8s will be $649.99, and the newest model T12 will be $749.99. Higher prices in materials and manufacturing and an increase in transportation costs have also increased the cost. This has forced us to rethink our product line and create more of a distinction between our steel, scrub brake product line and our aluminum, disc brake product line.

The new T8 and T12 aluminum vehicles will truly be the "Cadillac" series of our BPV (body-powered vehicle) product offering. And for customers who truly want a performance ride but don't want to spend that kind of money, you'll still be able to get the T78 Deluxe for $369.99. (And now that the DLX model is offered in a vibrant metallic blue, it should appeal to even more clients.)
