A record broken, a shop christened and a club open for business. What was billed as the biggest day in So Cal carving historyturned out to be historic indeed. The unofficial total number of riders at the region’s June LSM Ride in the South Bay was 56. The official tally be available soon, but either way, a new attendance record has been set for a group Trikke ride in Southern California, far surpassing the previous record of 45, set at the May, 2011, LSM in Long Beach.
Post-ride, the day’s events continued at the new SouthBay Trikke shop, where upwards of 60 people celebrated the shop’s opening and the fact that it’s also the headquarters for So Cal Carvers, the club for riders (sponsored by TrikkeWorld and SouthBay Trikke, official local dealer of the magazine).
Stay tuned to TrikkeWorld for further coverage of today’s events, as well as the global LSM movement, also carving on this historic day.
