Happy New Year, folks! I hope everyone enjoyed a festive and safe celebration. With much of the globe experiencing inclement weather, most of the trails were either covered with snow or rain on the last Saturday and Sunday of December, 2012. The good news is that many ski resorts are back and many are stepping up on the Trikke Skki.

For the December LSM Ride globally, we had five people step up on Skki, two in Ski Apache in Ruidoso, New Mexico, and three in Hoodoo, Oregon. We closed out the last LSM of 2012 with a lot of cheer. We’ve had our one year anniversary along with our first Global LSM Give-away. Our winner, John Goolevitch of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada, will hopefully enjoy the “Double Dub” edition T7 and maybe use it to grow his carving community.
So what’s going to happen in 2013? Hopefully, the LSM movement will continue to grow. I’m planning another contest/give-away/fundraiser during the year. Yes, it’ll be another “Double Dub” Special Edition! I’ve also been thinking about skill challenges and maybe some competition. None of this, though, would be possible without you, the Trikke community. With you sharing the passion we call Trikke, LSM’s will spread. With you, our ridership will grow. Again, thank you!
