Guess Who's Coming to the Labor Day Ride

And Guess What We’re Giving Away!

Gildo Beleski, inventor of the three-wheel wonder known as the Trikke, will be in attendance, along with his lovely wife Ana and their two children, at the 2nd Annual Labor Day Ride in Long Beach, CA, on Saturday, September 3, a day that marks the one-year anniversary of the first group ride in a city that has embraced the sport of carving like no other in the country.

“It’s always fantastic to have G show up at our rides in Southern California,” said Andy Pliska of SouthBay Trikke, co-hosts of the LDR along with TrikkeWorld. “He really inspires the riders and you really see where the passion comes from.”

Beleski, or G, as he’s commonly known in carving circles, tinkered and toyed for years with what would eventually become the Trikke. Now, a decade after forming Trikke Tech, Inc. with CEO John Simpson and becoming the company's chairman and CTO, Beleski and his invention(s) have earned him an almost mythical status among self-described trikkers.

To put it another way, if Trikke’s carving vehicles can be compared to toys, Gildo Beleski is the master toymaker, inspiring wide-eyed wonder and smiles in kids of all ages.

“It’s exciting,” said Pliska when asked about his first time meeting Beleski, “the persona of who he is and what he’s done, but when you get around him, you realize he’s a very humble guy, very easy to talk to, a very friendly person.”

Carvers attending the Labor Day Ride will be able to see for themselves. They’ll also be eligible to win prizes, such as t-shirts, kkargo nets and the grand prize: the toymaster’s latest toy: the new Trikke T7 Fitness.

“The anniversary meant we had to do it up big,” said Randy Boyd, publisher of co-hosts TrikkeWorld. “Since staging that first-ever ride in Long Beach, this bike-friendly city by the beach and the sport of carving have been a perfect match. We’ve had half a dozen group rides and the city has invited us to participate in some great events, like a TEDx conference and a City Hall Fitness Demo. Best of all, it’s centrally located and carvers love coming here.”
