What is Twitter?

For those of you who haven’t discovered Twitter yet, it’s a great way to get a quick Trikke fix on the internet. Twitter is basically a website for posting and receiving updates about a particular topic in short blasts of 140 characters or less. Signing up for a Twitter account is very easy and totally free. All you need is an email address, a username (the shorter the better) and a password. Once you’re signed up, you can spend as much or as little time as you’d like on Twitter.

Trikke on Twitter

So what does Twitter have to do with Trikke? For starters, Trikke is beginning to become a hot topic on Twitter. To find either Tweets (Twitter updates) or usernames that have the word Trikke in them, all you have to do is enter the word Trikke in the search box at the top of the Twitter page and hit enter/return or click on the magnifying glass. Up will pop a page filled with Trikke tweets or Trikke tweeters. Each of these entries will have some delectable Trikke tidbit. Better yet, many of them will have links for Trikke web pages, Trikke photos or even Trikke videos. It’s a great way to get a lot of Trikke information quickly and to start connecting with other Trikke lovers. A couple years ago, if you would have entered the search word Trikke into the Twitter search box, you would likely have come up with nothin’. Now, you’re likely to get some great and interesting results.

BTW, another way to find Trikke information is by clicking on #Trikke in any tweet. That will be a hot link to a list of more Trikke-related twit-bits. So when you start writing your own Trikke tweets, be sure to add the hash/pound sign (#) in front of the word Trikke so that others can search the Twitterverse for tasty Trikke tweets.
