The author of TrikkeWorld's blog, Douguss Amonguss, Douglass Weymouth is a Trikke Trainer from Santa Cruz, California, who's traveled near and far to carve up the planet, from Poland to Florida to Vancouver. The Buellton Hill Endurance Ride starts right out the backdoor of Trikke Tech, Inc. in Buellton, California. Many a ride has been made on this route to test Trikkes to see how they hold up on the climbing and carving curves of Santa Rosa Road from Highway 101 to Highway 1. As the Trikke Skki season comes to a close, I am heartened to know that Sierra-At-Tahoe is on the map as a go to resort for Trikke Skki riders. With one of the longest green runs around at 2.5 miles long you can really rack up some miles on the slopes. On March 8th, my wife, Sally and I got up super early to drive to Sierra-at-Tahoe Skki Resort near South Lake Tahoe. We left a bit before 5 o'clock so as to miss the morning rush hour and arrive as close to the 9 o'clock opening time for the resort. Roger Wildermuth of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, has been to the Skki Inn nearly every year since it began. He has a thing for zebra prints and has covered his Trikke Skki in a zebra stripe pattern from the steering column to the Skki blades. Super Bowl Sunday was the last day of Skki Inn 2013, and also the day of the Trikke Skki Giant Slalom Race at Oregon's Hoodoo Skki Area. It was quite a different experience than the previous day's Trikke Skki Grand Prixx. The Giant Slalom course is south facing and tends to get warm and soft in the afternoon sun.
